After many miles travelled, a move to Saudi Arabia, and countless adventures shared, the moment that gives meaning to this day has finally arrived: our marriage.
On 18 December 2026, at 12:30 p.m., we will gather our family and friends to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage at the Basilica of Santa Quitéria de Meca, the place we have chosen to begin this new chapter of our lives.
For us, marriage is much more than a celebration or a promise made before those we love. It is a vocation—a path we have chosen to walk together, striving each day to grow in love, faith, and mutual self-giving.
That is why we wanted our commitment to be celebrated within a religious ceremony, entrusting our shared life to God and placing in His hands the future of the family we dream of building together.
Throughout this celebration, the verse we have chosen as the inspiration for our marriage will also be present: “A threefold cord is not quickly broken.” These words remind us that a union built around three - Sara, Diogo and God - finds a greater strength to face life's challenges, joys, and every stage of the journey ahead.
This is the moment we have been waiting for. The moment when two stories become one.

The theme we have chosen for our wedding finds its roots in a passage from the Book of Ecclesiastes, one of the Wisdom Books of the Old Testament.
